Jeanine Mason & Caitlin Kinney are filming a new pilot.
i’m pretty sure its this.
My producing partner and I (both graduate film students at USC) are in the middle of producing a 15-minute pilot presentation/teaser for a television series that we are going to pitch out to networks this year. The working title of the show is “The Legend of Tiffany Blaze.” It’s an edgy sitcom that is sort of like a dirty version of Glee that features dancing instead of singing. The show is about a young girl who is mentally stuck in the 1980’s that dreams of reviving Jazzercise in an uppity gym in the Berkshire mountains. Basically, it’s a major nostalgia trip featuring a misfit who was born in the wrong decade and big dance numbers set to the most memorable hits of the ’80s. We are working with choreographers from The LXD and the Glee tour, a cinematographer from Sons of Anarchy and Lost, and have cast former contestants from So You Think You Can Dance.
